Barbados is a former British colony in the lesser Antilles Islands of the Caribbean. It’s an island of steep, volcanic peaks, white sandy beaches, and gracious Colonial sugar plantations, many converted into charming restaurants and inns. The island retains a decidedly British air and island residents, called “Bajans,” are warm and friendly and eager to share the beauty of their island. |
