The Eden Rock Hotel was the original luxury hotel in St. Barts. It was built in 1950 on a craggy bluff, just offshore from St. Jean and played host to celebrities, such as Greta Garbo and Howard Hughes, for whom guest suites are named. The hotel was completely rebuilt in 2005 along St. Jean ’s Beach, but still retains the glamour and elegance of the former hotel.
