The restaurant, The Rookery, is a friendly buffet-style restaurant that serves creative Caribbean and Continental cuisine for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner.

Two bars feature a wide selection of tropical drinks. The Poolside Bar is open during the day and early evening and is the daytime meeting spot at the resort. The Everglades Lounge features cocktails, after-dinner drinks, and nightly entertainment.

Dress for dinner is Caribbean casual. No jeans, but no jackets, either.

Weddings :

The Blue Heron offers several lovely spots for an island wedding. They also offer a special wedding package, which includes a bottle of sparkling wine and a tray of hors d’oeuvres, the services of the resort’s wedding coordinator, a bridal arch, a single-tier wedding cake, flowers for the bride and the groom, the services of a minister, the license and marriage certificate. Additional features can be arranged at an extra cost.

The resort will waive the legal fees for wedding parties of ten or more adults, staying at the resort for at least seven nights.

ntigua requires that couples be on the island at least one full business day prior to the wedding ceremony.

Non-motorized watersports – snorkelling, windsurfing, sailboating – are included in the room rate. Scuba, sports instruction, and golf can be arranged at an additional charge.

The Blue Heron is a modest, all-inclusive resort, located on a wide and uncrowded stretch of white sand beach. There is an excellent coral reef, just off shore, ideal for snorkelling and scuba diving. Room rates include all meals and drinks as well as non-motorized watersports.
